To withstand the rigours of site use, ponds, and water features, all of the pump end components utilise specially selected materials for abrasion resistance and anti-wear ductile iron. The motor is all 304 stainless steel design.

Very well built & powerful pump for the money
I purchased this as a "rescue pump" just in case the smaller sump pumps we installed in our property by the River Severn in Shrewsbury became overwhelmed or suffered power failure. Just this sinle pump can shift as much water as all 4 of the Ama Drainer 302 Sump Pumps that are in our permanent install. In the event, it was never used to replace them, but we did test it during a flood and to impressive effect. So impressive in fact that it is worth remembering how much force the water exiting the large diameter hose generates, we eneded up cable tying it to a column with jumbo ties to control its movement - good to plan that before plugging in for the first time.
We went for the "Auto" version, again, cable ties on the float switch mean you can then use in auto or tie it up and it effectively turns into manual mode according to situation, so not much extra cost for useful adaptability - you can't easily retrofit the float switch as it all has to be submersible.
