Blue PVC Layflat Hose with Bauer-Type Lever Lock Couplings is supplied in a complete 25-metre assembly, with male and female quick-release connections already fitted. Choose from 2″, 3″, 4″, 6″ and 8″ sizes to match your pumping installation.

The reinforced blue PVC hose provides a practical standard option for general water-discharge work, from property drainage to temporary pumping arrangements on construction and industrial sites.

For pump discharge—not suction. Specify a separate suction hose where the installation requires an inlet connection to a surface-mounted pump.

A Complete Assembly, Not Bare Hose

Each roll comes with its end fittings attached, so there is no need to order loose layflat and separately arrange the hose-end connections.

The assembly uses a male ball end and a female socket end, with galvanised-steel fittings retained by ferrules in the supplier’s specification.

Bauer-type describes the fitting style. 

Easy to Pack Away Between Jobs

The layflat format offers flexibility during use and convenient transport and storage between installations. Arco describes the assembly as a durable PVC water-transfer hose designed with these handling benefits in mind.

For contractors and maintenance teams, consider how the complete roll will be carried, stored and returned to service. Choose the required bore and number of assemblies around the actual discharge route rather than buying solely against the pump’s connection size.

Five Sizes, All Supplied in 25m Lengths

Every option includes the specified male and female Bauer-type lever lock couplings. The 8″ size is nominally 203mm bore, consistent with Arco’s separate 25m listing.

The size describes the hose bore—not its width when laid flat or the outside dimensions of the coupling.

Construction and Site Dewatering

For contractors specifying temporary discharge lines, start with the pump and planned hose route. Provide the total run, connection details and the nature of the water being removed.

When arranging water removal from a flooded property or area of standing water, include the intended discharge location and access constraints with your enquiry.

General Water Transfer

For tank-emptying or temporary transfer work, identify the water source, receiving point and any existing pipework or couplings the hose must connect to.

This page is intended for customers buying a complete discharge assembly for drainage, temporary pumping and general water-transfer installations.

For a new installation, provide the intended duty. For a replacement, send the existing hose markings and photographs of the connections.

Not for Suction or Vacuum Duty

The corresponding blue hose is specified for delivery, not suction.

Selecting the Correct Hose Assembly

Send Henry Pumps the pump make and model, required flow, total discharge length and height difference. Include the liquid being transferred and photographs of any existing connections.

For replacement stock, quote the existing product reference where available. For a new layout, explain whether the hose will connect directly to a pump, join other hose sections or terminate at fixed pipework.

Do not assume that matching the pump outlet diameter completes the selection. Ask for the proposed discharge arrangement to be reviewed as a whole.
