COMPACT WASTEWATER VORTEX PUMP

The Flygt D3045 pump is used mainly to pump abrasive media or low volumes at high heads.  This pump features a set-back vortex impeller which means that the flow is produced not by the impeller but by the rapidly rotating vortex that the impeller creates.  This has two benefits, reducing the chance of any blockages as little or no medium comes into contact with the impeller while also minimising any wear and tear.  These pumps have a comparably large throughput. The Flygt D3045 truly is a reliable submersible pump for residential, commercial and light industrial applications.

The Flygt D3045 vortex pump is designed for high reliability. The impeller does not require adjustment and runs freely in the volute, providing free flow-through passage of solids and liquids. This completely eliminates the risk of clogging and low performance that results from faulty impeller adjustments and wear.

LOW MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

The vortex design gives reduced radial forces on the impeller and shaft, which enables operation at very low flows or close to the shut-off head for extended periods without any damage or requirement for maintenance.

All components of the Flygt D3045 pump are specially designed and manufactured to optimise operation and prolong pump service life.

    Double mechanical seal system. Two sets of mechanical shaft seals work independently to provide double security. Available in Tungsten carbide (WCCR) or Silicone carbide (SiC) depending on pumped media.
    Cast iron. Robust and durable.

Built to last.  That is exactly what you would expect from Flygt pumps.  These submersible pumps are ideal for small-scale sewage transport and even groundwater drainage in locations such as private dwellings, work shops or restaurants.  These pumps could not be simpler to install, available in either permanent P type installation or the free standing S type, they can simply be lowered into position and set to work.

The DP pumps in this section come with a guide claw fitted to the pump and are designed for permanent installations where twin guide rails will be used.

The DS pumps in this section is a portable option supplied on a free standing base plate with discharge outlet suitable for a hose connection.

Twin oil bathed mechanical seals ensure both reliability and longevity.  The oil chamber is filled with an environmentally friendly white oil that is free from aromatic hydrocarbons and is approved by the FDA for use in the food industry.  The motor is designed specifically for the Flygt pump ensuring years of trouble free operation.  The Flygt C3045 is made even more reliable being engineered from a cast-iron shell.
