HARD WORKING, HEAVY-DUTY GRINDER PUMP

Specifically designed for pressurised sewage systems, the Flygt M3069 pump features an impeller that grinds solids to a fine slurry which can then be pumped through narrow pipe work, typically measuring 32mm-50mm in diameter.

The Flygt M3069 grinder pump is a high-performing submersible, centrifugal pump. Excellent for pumping wastewater in residential, commercial and agricultural applications. The grinder pump reduces waste content to fine slurry, pumped through small-diameter pipes. The main application for Flygt M3069 is pressurised sewage systems that are generally used when flat land, uphill topography, surface rock and high water tables pose tough challenges for conventional gravity systems.

For high-head applications, up to 70 m head, a progressive-cavity grinder pump version is available.

RELIABLE OPERATION

The Flygt M3069 is engineered to meet all challenges of a wastewater system. It comes equipped with a unique impeller for optimum hydraulic efficiency and a heavy-duty cutting device, which grinds solids into 5 × 15 mm particles to enable easily transporting fluids through small-diameter pipes.

All components are specially designed and manufactured to optimise operation and prolong pump service life.

Double mechanical seal system. Two sets of mechanical shaft seals work independently to provide double security. They are available in Tungsten carbide (WCCR) or Silicone carbide (SiC) depending on pumped media.

The MP pumps in this section come with a guide claw fitted to the pump and are designed for permanent installations where twin guide rails will be used.

The DF pumps in this section is a portable option supplied on a free standing base plate with discharge outlet suitable for a hose connection.

Twin oil bathed mechanical seals ensure both reliability and longevity.  The oil chamber is filled with an environmentally friendly white oil that is free from aromatic hydrocarbons and is approved by the FDA for use in the food industry.  The motor is designed specifically for the Flygt pump ensuring years of trouble free operation.  The Flygt M3069 is made even more reliable being engineered from a cast-iron shell.
