The JST SV submersible sewage pumps benefit from a vortex style impeller which allows these versatile pumps to pass soft solids.
They feature a cast iron pump body, impeller, lower motor bearing/seal housing and motor top cover, while the shaft and motor casing are manufactured from stainless steel. Double oil bathed mechanical seals, carbon ceramic and silicon carbide in a lubricated chamber.
The SV series manufactured by JS pumps are a range of submersible vortex impeller style pumps designed for sewage waste and high flow output.
Complete with a set-back vortex impeller makes this range of sewage pumps ideal for soft solids handling capability and allows the pump to pass solids up to 65mm on some models.
The benefits of the vortex style of impeller are that it is set back within the pump end which means nothing comes into contact with it allowing mud, sewage, viscous liquids, wood chips and other soft solids to be passed through the pump body to waste without clogging.
