Choose the bundle if you need a complete, ready-to-use setup rather than just the pump.
The bundle saves time by supplying the pump, float switch, hose and couplings together, with the hose assembly and camlock connections already matched to the pump. This reduces the risk of ordering the wrong hose, clips or fittings and helps get the pump working quickly on site.
The automatic float switch turns the pump on and off as water levels rise and fall. This is useful where water may continue collecting in a trench, chamber, basin, utility pit or flood-prone area.
It makes the kit more suitable for unattended or semi-attended drainage applications than a purely manual pump. However, if you want the pump to run as manual you can either simply tie the float switch up to the handle in the on position, or simply unplug the float and use the supplied blanking plug to remove it.
Choose an automatic bundle where water levels may rise and fall and you want the pump to start and stop by itself.
Choose a manual pump if the job is closely supervised and the user will control when the pump starts and stops.
