The Puddle Buddy 100 is our first choice puddle pump for domestic drainage applications such as the emptying of nuisance water from basement and cellars or rain water collection tanks.
A truly versatile pump, the Puddle Buddy 100 can operate in both manual mode and also automatic operation. In manual mode, the pump will run when the power is switched on and will continue to operate until the power is switched off. In this mode you can essentially vacuum up any standing water down to as little as 1mm.
This puddle sucker can also be switched into automatic mode simply by plugging the sensor probe into one of the three pre-configured points at the rear of the pump. When in automatic mode, this pump will drain the water and will continue to run when the water has dropped below the sensor for approximately three minutes which enables this puddle pump to drain more of the residual water away.
An additional benefit of the Puddle Buddy 100 is that it comes complete with a non-return valve already built-in, this means that automatic priming and re-priming is truly taken care of. In addition, this non-return valve presents the back flow of water back into the pump area. A fantastic plug and pump option with no hassle!
The pump comes with a 38mm (1.25 inch) threaded outlet and included in the box free of charge from Henry Pumps is a stepped hose tail adapter which allows you to affix either 38mm, 32mm or 25mm hose simply by attaching a hose clip.
