No - this kit is designed to be installed into an existing or separately supplied sewage chamber, sump, treatment plant chamber or pump well.
It includes the pump and discharge fittings, but not the chamber itself. If you need a complete packaged pump station including chamber, pipework and controls, a different solution may be required.
Choose the kit if you want the pump, non-return valve and main discharge fittings supplied together and pre-configured.
This reduces the risk of missing parts, incompatible fittings or poor sealing, and can save time during installation. If you already have suitable valves, fittings and pipework in place, the pump-only option may be enough.
The swing check valve acts as a non-return valve. It helps prevent pumped sewage or wastewater from flowing back into the chamber after the pump stops.
This is important because backflow can refill the chamber, cause unnecessary pump cycling and make the system less effective.
Yes, this kit is designed for sewage and wastewater applications. The JS-400SV vortex pump is listed with 36mm soft solids handling, making it suitable for foul water and sewage containing soft solids.
It should not be used for wipes, sanitary products, nappies, rags, cloths or other materials that should not be flushed.
Yes. The pump is supplied with an automatic MAC3 float switch, allowing it to switch on and off as the water level rises and falls in the chamber.
The chamber must have enough space for the float to move freely without catching on the pump, wall, pipework or debris.
This kit is based around a 2" / 50mm sewage pump discharge and is intended for connection into suitable 2" fixed pipework or compatible discharge fittings. The product page describes it as suited to installers hard-piping into 2" PVC/MDPE but it could also be used with MDS etc.
If the existing pipework is a different size, additional fittings or a different setup may be required.
