Trencher Submersible Drainage Pump

The Trencher model of submersible drainage pumps are a range of 2 inch heavy duty contractors pumps that while being both compact and lightweight are extremely robust and powerful designed for those arduous on-site drainage applications. 

Benefiting from a high abrasion resistance set-back Vortex impeller, the Trencher pumps also include an built in agitator for stirring sand and sediments into suspension and are capable of passing solids with a grain size of up to 7mm.

The Trencher series, manufactured by the industry leading experts at T-T are a premium range of 2 inch (50mm) submersible pumps engineered for the toughest applications including construction & civils, hire fleets, utilities, de-watering and water features.

The Trencher has a solid cast aluminium body, cast iron pump casing and an impact resistant PVC strainer base for durability during robust handling. The urethane vortex impeller offers excellent wear resistance in site applications where the water contains sand and silt in suspension, thus maintaining performance and reliability in the long term.

All Trencher models include a 403 stainless steel shaft, that is fitted with an ultra hard-wearing, twin mechanical seal (inboard: silicon carbide-silicon carbide) which runs in an oil chamber - and have a stirring/agitator device built-in in order to reduce blockages.

Used predominantly as contractor pumps on-site drainage duties, they can also be used in other industrial applications.

Supplied with 10 metres of heavy duty, bare rubber power cable. Included in the box, we supply a complimentary hose clip. 

Available in both single-phase and three phase.  Single phase range has the option of manual or automatic with float switch.

The Trencher range of submersible pumps also benefit from twin oil bathed mechanical seals which keep the pump motor cool in the event of minimal periods of dry running.
