Tsurumi KRS2 High Flow Slurry Pump with Agitator

Manufactured by Tsurumi Pumps, the KRS2 models are heavy duty drainage pumps, capable of large flows, which incorporate specifically designed 4 pole motors and a built-in agitator, to stir sand, bentonite, pulverized solids etc. into suspension for pumping.

The design of the Tsurumi KRS2 models incorporate a motor frame and pump casing in grey cast iron, with the suction cover and impeller in chromium iron. Heavy duty motors are fitted with internal overloads, which enable simple installation and direct connection to the power supply. The 420 stainless steel shaft is fitted with an ultra-hardwearing, double mechanical seal (inboard: silicon carbide-silicon carbide) in an oil chamber that has a patented oil lifter for positive seal lubrication in any position. The water and air cooling channel of the top outlet design allows the pump to operate for extended periods with little or no water.

Maintenance is straightforward too, with a simple replacement of wearing parts without the need for a workshop or even special tools.

All models are supplied with 20 metres of heavy duty rubber power cable although IDS (individually screened cable) is available, at an extra cost, on all models, for quarry and mining applications. Each model is supplied with a hose connector in cast iron.

The Tsurumi KRS2 is suitable to pump solids content up to 20%.
