Tsurumi KTZE Automatic Submersible Pump

Manufactured by Tsurumi Pumps, the KTZ(E) pumps offer an automatic option to the KTZ series, without the need for external control panels and cumbersome float switches.  A sensor probe is mounted in a durable, moulded rubber bracket and, for added protection, it is positioned within the footprint of the pump base.  Once the water level reaches the probe, the pump will start and continue to operate for one minute after the water falls below it.  However, if the water touches the probe within this time, the stop signal is cancelled and the pump continues to run until the water is cleared. 

The KTZE series are a  range of heavy-duty drainage pumps that provide exceptional wear resistance to maximise performance and minimise maintenance during operation in the worst possible conditions.

The design features a pump casing and a motor frame in cast-iron and an open impeller in chromium iron to provide exceptional wear resistance against sand, silts and slurry.

The KTZ(E) design also benefits from a dual position outlet port, to enable the user to position the outlet hose in the required direction which may be horizontal or vertical and hence avoid kinking of lay flat discharge hose.  A truly adaptable pump for all sites. 

All models of the Tsurumi KTZE are supplied with 20 metres of heavy duty, rubber power cable, although IDS (individually screened cable) is available on 3.7kW pumps, at an extra cost, for quarry and mining applications.

All pumps are supplied with a threaded outlet and a hose connector.
