Tsurumi NKZ High Flow Slurry Pump with Agitator

Manufactured by Tsurumi Pumps, the NKZ models are heavy duty drainage pumps, capable of large flows, which incorporate specifically designed 4 pole motors for exceptional wear resistance.

The side discharge, spiral design and the rotating agitator facilitate the passage of sand, pulverized solids etc. without clogging. The design incorporates a motor frame and pump casing in grey cast iron. The 2.2 kW and 3.7kW pumps have impellers in ductile iron while 5.5kW and 11kW pumps are in chromium iron.  The 2.2 kW and 3.7kW pumps have suction covers in grey cast iron while 5.5kW and 11kW pumps are in ductile iron.  Heavy duty motors are fitted with internal overloads, which enable simple installation and direct connection to the power supply. Each model has a 420 stainless steel shaft is fitted with an ultra-hardwearing, double mechanical seal (inboard: silicon carbide-silicon carbide) in an oil chamber that has a patented oil lifter for positive seal lubrication in any position. The water and air cooling channel of the top outlet design allows the pump to operate for extended periods with little or no water.

Maintenance is straightforward too, with a simple replacement of wearing parts without the need for a workshop or even special tools.  

All models of the Tsurumi NKZ slurry pump are supplied with 20 metres of heavy duty rubber power cable although IDS (individually screened cable) is available, at an extra cost, on most models, for quarry and mining applications.

The Tsurumi NKZ is suitable to pump solids content up to 25%. 

Each Tsurumi NKZ model is supplied with a hose connector in cast iron.
