Tsurumi UZ Sewage Vortex Submersible Pump

Manufactured by Tsurumi Pumps, the UZ series of cast iron sewage pumps, feature a wide volute and a set back vortex impeller for passage of large and fibrous solids found in waste water/sewage applications.

The UZ range by Tsurumi Pumps have 4 pole motors to give improved longevity and wear resistance.

They give solids handling up to 100mm and free passage of fibrous material, for efficient, reliable operation in pumping stations, sewage works and effluent processing.

Extended Warranty available exclusively from Henry Pumps: Standard 3 year warranty, extendable to 5 years with servicing by an approved Henry Pumps engineer, ensuring longevity and peace of mind.

They are available free-standing or for fixed installations when supplied with the guide rail (auto-coupling) kit. The latter includes a pedestal, guide hook, top bracket and lifting chain, but not rails.

Available in three-phase only. The 403 stainless steel shaft is fitted with an ultra hard-wearing twin mechanical seal (inboard: silicon carbide silicon carbide), in a patented oil chamber.

Supplied with 10 meters of heavy duty rubber power cable.

When a Tsurumi UZ sewage pump is being selected as a replacement for an existing Flygt pump installation, a guide hook adapter is available as an optional extra. This is suitable for use with all 3 and 4 sewage pumps and permits retro-fitting a Tsurumi to existing Flygt guide rail installations.
