The Vort Buddy 400 & 900 and Sump Buddy are our first choice submersible pumps for domestic drainage and soft solids handling applications such as the emptying of nuisance dirty water (Vort Buddy) from basement and cellars or rain water collection tanks, sinks, washing machines etc.
A truly versatile pump, the Vort Buddy and Sump Buddy both operate automatically. The dirty water Vort Buddy pump is supplied with a pendant cable style float switch whereas the Sump Buddy versions comes complete with in-built sliding tubular float switch for cleaner water applications where space it at a premium, such as in smaller sumps where a float switch may catch on the side walls. In addition, the Sump Buddy version of this submersible pump can also be switched into manual operation mode for lower level drainage making this choice ideal for various jobs around the home. A fantastic plug and pump option with no hassle!
The pump comes with a 38mm (1.25 inch) threaded outlet and included in the box free of charge from Henry Pumps is a stepped hose tail adapter which allows you to affix either 38mm, 32mm or 25mm hose simply by attaching a hose clip.
Both the Vort Buddy and Sump Buddy drainage pumps are supplied with 10 metres of power cable and a domestic 3 pin household plug.
