The Welfare Unit Pump Station.

Specifically designed to pump grey/foul water from welfare cabins to the nearest drain (up to 500 metres). Where there are no drains available we can also supply storage tanks up to 30,000 litres with a selection of Bauer fittings for vacuum extraction.

The standard welfare unit pump station model comes fitted with a high-quality Pedrollo Vxm10/50 single phase vortex sewage pump. However, for pumping long distances or where what is flushed down the toilet cannot be controlled, we also offer the heavy-duty Pedrollo Titrus Inox TIG 0.75 single phase sewage grinder pump.  Please select according to requirements from the drop down menu.

Internal manifold supplied and made from high pressure PVC with brass swing check valve and union for easy install/removal of the pump.

The state of the art pump controller comes with full telemetric communications. The benefits of this system is the ability to be forewarned that you have an issue hopefully before it becomes a serious problem. Knowing you have a blocked pump and need to send an engineer is great for both time and cost saving. We pre-install a multi-network SIM card for the first 12 months which is included. An annual fee applies after the first year. Using an Android APP, the pump station can be asked for a status update and receive up to 22 pre determined alarms. Up to 3 mobile phone numbers can be added to receive alarm notifications.

Installation on site is very simple. 

The power supply is via a 220v 50Hz socket. To maintain the IP67 rating the installer will require an MK K9024BLU 220v plug. 

1. Insert your 110mm waste pipe into the pre drilled inlet hole.
 
2. Connect the 50 or 63mm MDPE rising main into the compression fitting.
 
3. The pump is supplied packed in a separate box to prevent damage in transit. 

4. Simply connect the PVC union to the other half in the pump station and plug the water proof connector for the power supply. Turn on the rotary isolator on the pump controller. 

5. Fill the tank with clean water to test. Follow the instructions inside the controller lid to auto set the pump running parameters. 

6. Finally press the AUT button to leave the system in automatic mode. Run clean water for a couple of cycles to ensure all is running correctly.

We install as standard a 110mm tank seal in the side of the MDPE chamber 22cm up from the floor to the centre line. The actual size is determined by the client before delivery.

Remote alarms include to IOS/Android - blocked pump, high level, dry running, continuous running, over current, over voltage, over/under frequency, service alert, and loss of power.
